Jayshree Tripathi

Jayshree Misra Tripathi, a poet and retired diplomatic spouse, draws inspiration from over six decades of global experiences – a child from Odisha to England, then seven countries. Her work focuses on the human experience, especially the silenced voices of women. Her latest poetry collection, Pirouettes in the Rediscovery of Identity, “unlocks knotted griefs” with courage, says poet critic Gopal Lahiri. Her forthcoming anthology, Unsung Voices -The Other Side of Diplomacy, will be released by Westland Books. Jayshree’s poetry and short stories have been reviewed in the Sahitya Akademi’s Journal of Indian Literature. Her poems have been published in the Journal of The Poetry Society (India), online The Punch Magazine, Muse India, Madras Courier, stories in Huffington Post (now archived) and blogs on News18;   She has also been included in national and international Anthologies.
