Lokesh Jain, involved in theatre for last three and a half decades, explores  the diverse forms of theatre as a “solo performer”

He has done the intensive training Diploma under shri  Ebrahim Alkazi,  and participate with the international theatre practitioner like, Sara Jones,Bond street theatre company and Polish theatre director, Jerzy Grotowski’s team.

He writes, lyrics, designs and directs  several plays  “kichdi kitsch” , “humein naaz hai”, “soi subah ki khoi dastaan”, “chal door mere mun”,  “gul gulee circus”, “khawabow ke bulbuley” “Bheege Bheege Se Pal” ” bharat maata ki jai”  & ” Kaala suraj safed saaye” many others ,Dawat e khichdi.  Last two decades  his solo pieces  “fragrance”, “Blood on the rocks”, “mirror”, “mirage”, “Akkarmashi” have been staged in NSD’s theatre festival, indo- pak wagha border various art galleries & educational institutions all over India.

He is visiting faculty at  the several colleges of Delhi University. Teach “theatre in education” for students & various other institutions. A founder of ‘Jamghat’ a group of street children and the creative director of the group called “Mandala the magic circle”.

Used theatre as pedagogy with youth, farmers, women’s and environmental groups, and various organizations.

Beside theatre he is so passionate about New Fine Arts  and avantgarde performance medium and he curated the exhibition for eminent Indian artist Savi sawarkar.

Currently he Acted, written Dialogues and doing intensive research for the internationally acclaimed Film which got several national and international awards, and also participated in Sundance Film festival and nominated for Oscar awards participation Film from India under the Direction of Anamika haksar ji
