Tansy Troy

Tansy Troy is an educator, editor, poet, performer, playwright and maker of bird and animal masks. You can read more of her work in Ratnakosha (Red River, August 2023), The Apple Press, a young people’s eco journal @the.applepress which Tansy edits and curates; and see her masks and performances @the_adventures_of_tara. Tansy has sung and performed on the stages of London’s Wigmore Hall, The Barbican, The Royal Albert Hall, Cecil Sharpe House and in many schools and galleries across the UK. In India, she tours regularly and has performed poetry and young people’s theatre at Triveni Kala Sangam, Ranga Shankara, Vizag Theatre Festival, Kukdukoo Literary Festival and the Bookeroo Festival, as well as for many schools, children’s homes and outreach NGOs. Tansy lives with her family and many other beautiful birds and animals between Delhi, Rohtak and the majestic Himalayas.
